The 2023 Bridlington Admiral’s Cup – The Results !

This years Bridlington Admiral’s Cup was, not unsurprisingly, held under very tight security in order to protect the Celebrity Players from the prying eyes of the paparazzi and investigative journalists.

  “It was as if a security blanket had been pulled over this years tournament !” said former Champion Tony Bryan. “At times it was very dark, you could not see you hand in front of your face ! …….

Although, to be fair, that could have been when it was night time ?”

Brian Shakespeare takes the 2023 Admiral’s Cup still riding high from his Crowhurst Celebration victory earlier in the year !!!  The mighty Nigel Carby in runner up and John (Oh just one more shot please) Miles in 3rd place.

Due to technical complications, VAR issues and mostly Lager this years secondary, but nevertheless legendary events were reduced to one day competitions.

Sir Roger Large reclaiming the Super Bock Handicap Steaks, Marky Hinds claiming a worthy victory in The Flamborough Head Banger and John Miles winning the Peter Crowhurst Celebration “again” !!!

Veteran Admiral’s Cup player young Tony Bryan summed up this years event :

“I told you we would win it all lads !!!”

The 2024 Bridlington Admiral’s Cup will be scheduled for Friday 13th Sept 2024 through Monday 16th Sept watch this space for further news.
