DAY 1 Kibworth – The *Asterisks* Portugal Tour 2020 – Lord Chilly’s Nose In Front !
“A momentous occasion !” shouted MK Seve from the first Tee at Kibworth Golf Club as the first round of the 2020 **Asterisks** Portugal Tour got underway on Tuesday.
The crowds were sparse as attendance had been curtailed for social distancing compliance.
MK Seve “Took the Knee” on the first Tee in solidarity with the global anti racism movement but sadly struggled to get up and had to call for assistance.
As the day unfolded both Lord Chilly and Mick R. had magnificent front 9’s only to crash and burn as the trees, the brook and the super fast Kibworth greens took there toll.
After 18 holes just 12 shots span the field with Lord Chilly on top and last years Champion MK Seve in 7th place.
The Tour moves on to Rugby Golf Club on Friday 10th July, local lock downs allowing !
